1. Information We Collect

Information you provide:

  • Email address and pet type (when joining the waitlist)
  • Pet symptom descriptions (when using the AI triage tool)
  • Payment information (processed by Stripe — we do not store card details)

Information collected automatically:

  • IP address (for rate limiting and abuse prevention)
  • Usage data via Google Analytics 4 (page views, interactions)
  • Device and browser information

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and improve the AI triage service
  • To notify you when Pawcuro launches new features
  • To analyze usage patterns and improve the AI's accuracy
  • To prevent abuse and enforce rate limits
  • To comply with legal obligations

3. AI Triage Conversations

Conversations with the AI triage tool are stored to improve the quality of the service. These conversations are associated with an anonymous session ID, not with your personal identity (unless you voluntarily provide identifying information in the chat).

We may analyze aggregate, anonymized conversation data to identify common pet health concerns and improve the AI's responses. We will never sell individual conversation data to third parties.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Supabase (hosted on AWS) with row-level security enabled. We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. Access to the database is restricted to server-side operations only — no client-side access is permitted.

5. Third-Party Services

  • Supabase — database and authentication
  • Anthropic (Claude API) — AI triage processing
  • Google Analytics 4 — usage analytics
  • Vercel — hosting
  • Stripe — payment processing (future)

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to: (a) request access to your personal data; (b) request deletion of your data; (c) opt out of marketing communications; (d) request a copy of your data in a portable format.

7. Children's Privacy

Pawcuro is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
